On Friday, we had the second reading of Rachel Carey’s new play, which continues to change in mostly small ways. This time there was more discussion about the characters and their history, since they are based on real people. It’s funny to see how much empathy we start feeling for a person we’re satirizing because of her larger-than-life image (Ayn Rand). It’s a fun process, and we hope it translates into a fun thing to watch.
